Baby Sign has been such a hit, we are keeping it going for the month of March! Sundays @ 3:00 PM -Tell Mama- In Sign Language (continued)! Communicate with your infant or toddler in a beautiful and wonderfully rewarding manner. Children and caretakers of all ages and experience levels are invited to this half hour gathering every Sunday at 3 PM. We’ll learn applicable vocabulary and enjoyable ways of incorporating sign into everyday life. Share an exciting,engaging new form of relating with your child while giving them the gift of an additional means of being understood.

Thanks to the Telluride Medical Center and their fabulous PEP grant, we will be holding fun and informative snack and nutritional education classes Wednesdays though out the months of February and March from 3:30-4:30. Next week, February 8th, don't miss Invent-A-Salsa!

No School Science (after school that is)

Ages 8-12 join Pinhead for some super sleuthing and some crime scene investigating. We will determine "who done it" by testing mysterious powders and looking at fingerprint samples. This lab intensive program will have kids using test tubes, pipettes, and microscopes. So, get ready for forensics fun with your friends at Pinhead. Monday, January 23 @ 3:30 in the Program Room.

Scholastic BookFLIX

Scholastic BookFLIX is a program that the library subscribes to that will actually read stories to your child. You can reach Bookflix by clicking on the Homework or Fun & Games links from this WPL Peeper's Kids. To access BookFLIX from home all you will need is your library card number.

Each selection pairs a fiction and non-fiction story with a "read along" option that highlights the text as the narrator reads. For the curious child, each story is bundled with additional information like games, meet the author and explore the Web.
